More Cell Phone/Car Problems
I stayed at my hotel last night and had to check out at noon so that houskeeping could get in there and get it clean for the next person. So I decided to go drive around and around and around and around. I get tired and park at Madonna Plaza and listen to the radio. While I was stopped I decided to use my cell phone too. I called up some long distance friends becuase I have unlimited nights and weekends and free domestic long distance. While talking I thought it would be a good idea to charge my phone. Afterwards my car wouldn't start. I tried to turn it on at 2:45 because I wanted to go to the 3:00 screening of Rush Hour 2 but the started wouldn't kick in. There was still power in the car but not enough to start it up. The damn cell phone drained my car cause of all the energy it uses up.

What's Up?
Did you ever think about the negative conotation of this common greeting. Whats the usual answer? "Nothing Much" even though there is much to be said about you that the other person doesn't know. Take a phone conversation. A calls B and says A says "What's up?" and B answers with "Nothing Much". The B proceeds to talk about some thing. That that something be what was up and not the nothing much. Or was it so insignificant that it was really nothing. If it was nothing then why did he talk about it. I don't even know what the heel I am talking about. What about when someone answers your "What's up" with another "What's up."
Planet of the Apes
Another movie with a questionable ending.This final scene of this movie was a little strange. Actually the ending was strange. The movie was great and a couple notches above Jurassic Park 3. I liked the way that everything was explained in the end and how everybody could speak english was explained. It was strange that Marky Mark got thrown into this new planet and everyone could understand each other. Overall this movie was a good remake of the original. Maybe equal to the original, but not better.

Unfamiliar Cielings
I decided to take a nap earlier today at about 1:50PM at Yukiko's Apartment. I had asked her to wake me up at about 2:20ish because I was so damn tired from moving. When she woke me up I had no I dea where I was. She didn't even look familiar to me. The ceiling was one that I had never seen before. It is a totally wiered feeling. I think I'm gonna go through this a couple mroe times over the next couple of days. I don't get to move into my new place until the 7th. One more week to go.

Moving Day
This is the last Blog from my address at 572 Foothill. My computer is the last thing to be moved out of my apartment. My roomamate, Masa, and I packed the big stuff the other night and movied them to Yukiko's (my roomate's girlfriend) Apartment. Unfortunately he and his mother went to New York so I had to pack up all the little stuff and clean the apartment. It is not umcommon here in SLO for people to pack up everything except their computer. Everyone wants to be able to access their e-mail until the last minute and that is exactly what I did, especially with my DSL connection. I wanted to savor every last bit of that high speed internet access.
Moving sucks.
I hate all the hassles of moving like changing your address on all of your accounts and magazine subscriptions. I had to change my phone number because if I kept my old one, I might have to wait like 10 months to get my new DSL line at the new address.
Spray Paint
Last night I painted the bathroom to cover up all the mold stains on the cieling. I was using cans of almond colored spraypaint. I noticed that there was no ventillation in the bathroom so I went and got a handkerchief to use as a mask. It wasn't working to well. I was breathing fumes easily through my makeshift mask. I got lightheaded in there. Fortunately my neighbor was kind enough to lend me a hige fan to blow the fumes out of the apartment.

Your Own Car
Have you ever seen your own car driving from behind. It is really funny watching someone else drive your car as you follow along behind. I have to drive my car down to Santa Barbara because there were not enough cars to bring everyone back to Santa Barbara.
It felt kinda wierd because it is your car but someone else is driving. You can also see what people driving behind you see. Come to think of it I think it give me a little more isight about my car. I think I got to know it a little better while driving behind it.
Disneyland
We drove from SB straight to Disneyland yesterday. The students have to go straight to the airport afterwards so that they could catch their flight to Japan. It was a crazy day. We brought 2 vans of people to Disneyland, about 30 total. 17 had to go back that night with me, the other driver and 2 others. The rest wanted to stay at Disneyland until 2AM. We were to leave at 9PM. We ended up leaving the other students behind for my boss to pick up (with dismay). He though that we shouldn't have taken any of them along. It was a mistake because the schdules of the special program students and year round students conflicted. It was such a long day, but we made it.
