Operation: Dry in the Desert
It looks like we aren't going to get into Las Vegas as soon as we thought. I left SLO three hours later than I thought at 11am. We were supposed to leave here at 3pm right after Pat's class but we have been delayed. Leslie is on the UCLA campus giving a tour to the three New Yorkers. Mario and Jimmy are still on their way. But what to do there is still a mystery. we'll make it up as we go.

George Foreman Grill
My friend Jason hooked me up with his George Foreman grill because he upgraded to a biger and better one. Tonight I cooked steak on it and it was pretty phat. I'm gonna use this more often. There's nothing easier than throwing meat in there and letting it sit. I have some salmon in the freezer so I guess I'll try that tomorrow.

Importance of Sleep
Sleep is very important to me. I try to spread that to other people. You should alwyas take care of your health. If you're gonna pull an all-nighter, at least try to get a nap in. You'll feel so refreshed that you can do more than if you were in a tired state. I'm up right now becuase I was working on an essay, but I did take a nap for 2 hours before I got back up to start doign work again.

An Extra Step
Today I went to the ATM and I noticed an extra step in the whole process. There is now an extra verification screen for the deposits. I guess they want to make sure you know how much you are really putting in there.

Getting Another Tip
Today was a good night for me. People were tipping em for things I normally did. When I first got in last night someone called down asking for toothbrushes. He gave me $5 for handing one to him. He said he would come down, but I could have gone up to his room if he wanted. My night started out pretty well. And this morning, I was setting up for breakfast and another man needed some hot water so I went and got him some right away. He gave me a tip. I always try to refuse tips (even though I need the money). I was just doing my job. I just hope what goes around comes back around. Im talking about the kindness of people.
