Surprise Party
Last night we threw a party for Maria, a student from Chile. For the last couple of weeks she's been telling everybody that she loves surprise parties, even though she has never had one. She had her heart set on having one today. She wrote "Maria's Sorprais Party" on the Calendar at the English school for Saturday the 9th and her birthday on the 10th. We did a good job of keeping it a secret becaus eshe didn't know. When we picked her up, she thought we we just going to have dinner at my house. She saw only 4 botles of beer on the table and was a little disappointed because she thought that it was really only the 4 of us. When I opened the door to my room, a bunch of people came out and she was really surprised.
One-Thousandth Picture
At the party my 1,000th picture was taken with my digital camera. My original plan was to post the picture on the internet. I wanted to take a picture of something amazing, but Maria took a couple of shots that I think she would rather not have on the internet. Gosh darnit. Now I have to wait for my 5,000th picture to get to a really good number. I wonder if the camera will last that long?

Wireless at CalPoly
I can finally connect to the Internet at CalPoly via the wireless communications network. I came to school early yesterday so that I could try to connect, but I got the e-mail last night saying that my connection would be available starting today. Here I am now just out of class and strainght into the library. I opened op my iBook and bam, I was on the internet. The first page I hit up was Blogger. I had to tell someone about it. I just wish we had the network like UCLA does so taht I could hop onto the net from anywhere on campus. Or better yet a public network, but I doubt we have any of those here on the Central Coast. Those would only be for people up north in the Bay Area. SLO needs to get on track and not be so slow.

Joe's World of Pain
Today my friend, Joe, was telling me about his world of pain. It takes quite a story to make me really cringe, but he made me cringe many times. Joe is the victim of 'chronic bodily injury disease'. it happens so much that his doctor knows exactly when to expect him. He told me about his broken arm with a dozen screws in it holg the bones together. He has also broken his elbow and been in a state where he couldn't move his arm. His own mother didn't believe him when he claimed that he broke his wrist. What's up with that?

Hunger Problems
Not only am I having sleeping problems, but eating problems as well. I can't seem to keep food down recently. Many people have told me to go to the docto becuase they believe I have an eating disorder. I don't think so. I'm not just eating properly. I don't have set times to eat. I just eat whenever I feel like it. That might be bad becuase I know that this would throw my body off. The problem is that I don't have time to eat or do anyhting else.
