Confused
I am very confused right now. All i've been hearing in the last week is Japanese. I am working with a group of 12 students from Matsuyama in Japan who are here to take some classes in subjects like Fashion, Social Welfare, Sky Business, and Computers. They all have limited English, but they do understand me. But all they speak to me is in Japanese. I understand, bu tnot everything they are saying. It is porbably the same the other way. But I think their understanding of english is better than mine of Japanese.

Yamamoto Academy 2002
Wow. I finally have access to the internet again. I tried connecting at the Summerset Sutes in Beverly Hills, but they had no ethernet cables. How are they gonna sell internet access if they don't have ethernet cables. Anyways, I am liking this new group. They are more friendly than last years group. Lastyear's group took about a week to warm up to me. That's a long time compared to the two weeks total that they are staying here. We'll see what's going to happen. I think good things will come out of this group.

People Waking You Up Before You Want To
I only got 4 hours of sleep today becuase my cell phone rang at 7:am. it was my friend, An, who only wanted to say hello. WTF was that about. She sometimes does little things like this to annoy me. I couldn't get bacl to sleep after that. This was my only day where I didn't have to work in the morning. I have not slept in for months. I thought today was going to be the day, but she ruined it for me. My alarm was set for 10:00am.I'll get her back tomorrow!

One-handed Typing
I've been recieving a lot of good comments about my one-handed typing at work. When checking people in I hold their credit card in oen hand while I type their address, phone numebers, and credit card numbers in. But they are amazed when I reach over with my left hand to swipe the card and key in more numbers with my left hand into the credit card machine. I'm trying to be ambidexterous but I still have a long way to go.

Hot as Hell
I'm glad to be back in SLO. The weather in Las Vegas was horrible. It was hotter there at midnight than it is here in SLO at noon. I could not live in a plae like that. I didn't even want to go outside, but in Las Vegas you can spend a couple of days indoor without going outside. All the hotels are so amazing because there is so much to do. And the number of rooms is mind boggling. Treasure Island has about 2600 tooms, but the MGM has about 4000! The vacation was fun while it lasted, but I am glad that I am back home, in the cold,where I can regulate my temperature.
