A Really Nice Hotel
Wow. I have never been in a hotel so nice before. We kinda snuck 4 people into the rooms. There are only supposed to be two. Anyways we get into the room and I go look in the closet first. There are extra pillows and bathrobes in there. There are buckets in the room to chill your wine as well as wine glasses. And then I saw a subwoofer on the floor. I looked at the TV and found out it was a Sony and when I looked beneath the TV there was a DVD player there with a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound System. That really impressed me. And I saw a data port on the wall. I plugged my iBook in and then I had instant internet access with no charge at all. I don't even know how much it costs to stay here. I'm not paying so it doesn't really matter.

Homeless without a cause
I've been sleeping in the van for the last couple of nights. I don't really mind it. Bill said that I could stay in a motel, but I didn't really want to. It was better being near the students even though I haven't had a shower since monday morning. I feel a little dirty, but I've done much worse (in the Army). I chose to be like this. The van is actually comfortable. Monday night I had down comfoters to sleep with. Last night I only had my t-shirts and stuff. The host family, who drive way in which I was parked, was kind enough to offer me breakfast and use of their bathroom.

Much Needed Rest
Today I was expecting to go down to Santa Barbara to pick up a couple of the girls so tha tthey could see SLO. I just came from there last night so that I could work yesterday, but now they are spending time with their host families. That's less driving for me to do because I have to go back to SB anyways either tonight or tomorrow. They are pretty cool people even though I've only known them for a couple days. It's OK. That means I get to relax today and have a little quiet time. But I do think that having this quiet time is interfering with my busy time. I am so used to being busy.
