Ocean Meets the Sky
I had to rush down to Arroyo Grande toady so that we could go see Jackass at Signature Theatres. We had to make the 2:15 show becuase I have to do some work tonight at 7:00pm. On the way there I looked off to my right at the ocean and the ocean and sky seemed to blend together. I couldn't really tell where the horizon was. I was almost like looking out into forever.

New Twix Candy
I really like the cookie part of Twix so I eat that last. I usually eat up the caramel off the top and then the rest of the chocolate off the sides and then finally get to the cookie. And today I found out that an answer to my yearning has come. There's a new Twix Cooke Bar out. It is primarily a wider and flatter cookie bar with a little caramel in the top with chocolate covering just a portion of the top. The chocolate and caramel are just an accent to the cookie.

Working the Evening Shift
I hate working the 3-11pm shift at the hotel. It gets pretty boring. But at the same time it does get really busy. There are periods of business and periods of nothing. The phone likes to ring when I have guests standing in line. And when the phone calls come in, it's not just one. And usually I have to work alone when on the evening shift. During the day I do more stuff and it's always different. And it goes like not busy and then busy and then not busy at lunch and then it might get busy again after lunch. I then get off of work and get stuff done during the rest of the day. On days I work hte evening shift I don't get up till 11 or 12 and then I only have 3 hours to get stuff done before work. When I work the day shift I get off at 3 and have the rest of the day to do stuff.

Freakin Windows
I'm on my third reinistall of Windows XP. I hope it work out this time. This first 2 times it worked for a while, but when I restarted it stopped working both times. this time it seems to be holding up. I had to reinstall windows after I had the most stable system for the longest time. I never turned off my PC before because WinXP made it so stable. And then when I was watching TV on my PC it suddenly froze and I couldn't even ctrl-alt-del it. I had to push reset and then it wouldn't recognize the disk anymore. Now I'm just trying to salvage the rest of my info that was not backed up for a long time.
