Star Trek: Nemesis
Today I took a new friend out to see a movie. We went to see Star Trek: Nemesis. She was a slight fan of it, but not really. It was ok because she wanted to see it anyways. This movie was very emotional for me, but not really for her. Star Trek has never really made me emitional, but this one did it. They really did a lot with this movie and I got more than I expected from it. Go see it and you'll know wha tI mean.

Asking for a Ride

Losing My Way and Mind
On my way back to SLO last night I had one more person to drop off. We were talking about another person and I had this person on my mind. Little did I know that I turned down the street of the person we were talking about. I thought the person I was dropping off was going there. I was totally wrong and embarassed when I pulled up to the wrong house.

Bonzi Buddy
One of my new workmates told me that she worked as a Nanny for the guy that created Bonzi Buddy. You know, he's that big purple gorilla that places a bunch of spyware on your PC. She had no idea of what he did for a living. I told her about his software infiltrating millions of unsuspectings users' computers and spying on their habits. We hate you Bonzi Buddy!

I've worked at the hotel for almost 3 years but today I had to use the excuse that I was new. It was like, "I'm sorry sir, I'm still new. Let me go ask someone a question."
I forget why I had to use it, but it was very convenient.

Classic Games
I didn't know that old video games could be worth so much. On TechTV today they were showing a bunch of classic gaming consoles and how much they were worth. They covered several video game systems tha tI have owned. My first video game system was the Vectrex. It was an all in one unit complete with its own monitor. The games came with color overlays to give the games some sort of color. The next one I got was the Colecovision. That's where I first encountered Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. And then came Nintendo. I was first entranced by the original Nintendo Enterntainment System (or Famicom), Gameboy, then the Super NES (Super Famicom), Nintendo 64, Gameboy Advance, and now the Gamecube.
Along the way I picked up the Sony Playstation, the system which could have been Nintendo's, but in a stupid move let it go. Sony decided to let the partnership cease, but continued R&D on the system. Nintendo created the Playstation monster which would come to rival them. that rivalry has sprung both the Playstation and the Playstation 2 systems.

Hella Pissed Off
I can't sleep. I had to get up because I feel so pissed off. The stranger that stayed in my house had some friends over and they opened up some things of mine that were still in their packages. I had bought another Playstation 2 that I was going to exchange with my older one. I didn't want to touch any of the accesories that came with the new one and expecially not unwrap the cords and open up the plastic. But now the damage has been done. They needed an extra controller last night so they could play games. What the fuck was that about. There are a couple other controllers sitting off to the side. Why couldn't they use those? Anyways I have to kep this new stuff cause now I'm gonna get the 15% restockting fee. Would you open something of someone's if it is still sealed in original packaging?
