Lost One Sock
I woke up this morning with only one sock on. I went to sleep with two socks on. But I don't normally sleep with socks. I wonder where it went.

Just Woke Up
Damn it's late. I wanted to take a 1 or 2 hours nap after work, but it ended up being 7. That's more than a whole night of sleep for me.

Dumbass Crooks
Some dumbass crooks tried to rob me today, bu tI sure got them. I knew they were going to do that, too, but I didn't go downstairs.
The story started like this. I left work and it was hot in my car so I cracked the windows open, no all the way, maybe just a couple of inches. I put my jacket on the passenger seat. I turned on my iPod so that I could listen to some "non-radio" music and put it down on the passenger seat on top of the jacket. I drove to CCLA as I usually do and parked my car in what I thought was a relatively safe spot. I picked up my computer bag and headed upstairs.
I sat on the terrace and spoke with some of the students for a while. I got on the computer and got on the Internet when I heard my car alarm go off. I pushed the button on my keyring to silence it. I rushed to the side and saw a group of people parked next to my car. One of them was one of the employees from the store below. I saw them doing a "deal", if you know what I mean. I didn't think anything of it. Maybe they just hit my car by accident. But then I noticed that my window was cracked open and that my iPod was sitting on the passenger seat. I was a little wary at that point. So I kept watch for a little bit.
I got distracted when one of the girls walked off. I called Martin and rushed off to the otherside of the terrace to point out the cute girl to him. we waited a minute or two but she never came. She never appeared. I went back to the parking lot to see if she was there, but low and behold the car was gone and I saw that my iPod was gone. I rushed down without my driver's license in my pocket and jumped in the car. In the parking lot, I found the back to the iPod case. I could still see them in the distance. in my car, I noted that my ski goggles, beanie, and papers from my glove compartment were gone. I was pissed off at that point.
I raced down Higuera St, but I didn't know whether they had gotten on the freeway or not. I was in the right land and had to turn onto the freeway, but I saw them a litle ways down. I was too late, I couldn't turn back. My only way to go was to get off at Madonna and circle back to South Higuera. I made a right and didn't see them and turned around to go the other way. No such luck. I had to go back to the store and tell his friend to call him back.
I got to the store and told the guy that his friends had taken stuff from my car. I told him tha tI had the license plate and would call the cops if they didn't come back. I also stated that it would be a felony because the value of the stuff was more than was more than $400. He got one of the girls to call the guy. I told him to tell the guys that as long as I get all my stuff back, tha tI would not call the cops. I said that I had the license plate number also.
They came back within 15 minutes. I was on top of the balcony when I saw them. They pulled into Sandy's parking lot and handed the stuff to a girl. I saw that the stuff was wrapped up in my jacket as well. I was like, "What the f**k?!? My jacket, too?" I quickly rushed down and grabbed my stuff. I checked it out and looked for the iPod first. I saw that they had my parking permit and all sorts of papers that were of no importance to anyone but myself. I noticed that my ski goggles were not there and went to the car. The driver came out and tried to make excuses for the guy that took the stuff. The guy that took the stuff was totally drunk. He tried to play it off with his drunkeness. What the hell was he doing drunk at 3:00PM. Freakin' alcoholic! Anyways I kept asking for the rest of my stuff. First it was my beanie, then my ski goggles, and whatever else was there. He also tried to claim to be my Filipino brother and that he only did it because he was drunk. I just told him straight that if he gave me all the suff back, that I wouldn't call the cops. The dumb f**k even wrote down his number for me.
I think I might call this guy up and tell him what he could have faced, felony charges, which equates to a minimum of 90 days in jail.
