Screw Mardi Gras
I hate having to work when it is party weekend here in SLO. I not mad that I can't go out, but because i have all osrts of party-people up in da house. I've had so many noise complaints already and it's not even midnight yet. There are so many drunk people hanging out in the lobby. Our breakfast area is a mess. There is the smell of marijuana in the air. I don't want to resort to calling the cops, but I may have to. I don't want to deal with all of these drunks either. I heard some of them in the hallway worrying because they weren't 21 yet. WHy in the world do we have 27 fraternity rooms on Mardi Gras?

What do you sleep with?
I noticed today that my roommate, Brian, sleeps with a Kendo stick (a wooden sword). Some of my friends sleep with big pillows, stuffed animals, other toys and some random object. i like to sleep with my laptop near so taht when I wake up in th emiddle of the night, I can check to see if I got new mail or not. But under my pillow is a different story. I used to sleep with a gun under my pillow when I was in high school. I never felt safe back then. But now I seem to have felt the need to sleep with a weapon under my pillow so I went out and got a handgun. i don't keep it loaded, but it's meant to scare off anyone that might harm me, but if need comes to be, I have a loaded clip ready to go where it is easily accessable. Anyways, what do you sleep with?

Big Tippers
I lvoe my job when I am able to get $20 tips. The key is providing excellent customer service. and it helps when one works back to back shifts. I worked the PM shift last night and checked everyone in and recommended places to see and eat. And the in the morning, I helped check people out as well as making future reservations. It also helped that the guests saw me helping out in the breakfast bar. I'm pretty happy.

Eating an Orange
I haven't eaten an orange in so long. It take too much trouble to peel it. And when I do peel it, it never peels correctly. and it gets all over the place. I liek to peel my oranges super clean. I get as much of the white par off of the fruit as I can. I also take off the skin that covers the pulp so that the only thing I eat is pulp.
