Long Ass Flight
I left at 6:00pm San Luis Obispo time. It is now 1:14pm San Luis Obispo time on 07 June. I have been traveling for about 19 hours now and I stil have to wait. My flight leaves at 9:00am which is about 3.75 hours from now. And the flight to the Philippines is about 4 hours, which will put my total travel time to 27 hours. What a long time. But I am having a great time. Let's see how it started...
Future Co-workers
I introduced myself to my future co-workers when I boarded the Skywest flight out of San Luis Obispo. Jodi was the flight attendant and she was very helpful with me. She even let me poke around all of the cabinets and stuff so that I could see what I was in store for. She gave me a lot of pointers. jodi told me that she would even give me her folder from when she went to training. when the flight was over, I met the captain and the first officer, Daniel and George. They are all pretty cool people.
After the flight, we all went out to eat at San Francisco International Airport. We ate at this crappy chinese place. they shared really cool stories with me and I feel like this is a good beginning to working with the company. Looks like I might have to change my choices in cities to be based in based on what they have told me. Fresno should have been one of my choices.
Meeting Friends in Random Places
Who meets a friend at the airport when they are not picking or dropping them off? I do, and my friend Grace did. She jsut happened to be dropping off her mom on the same day that I was going out to the Philippines. her mom was leaving earlier than me though. So I went form being with the flight crew to being with the Flip crew. So I hung out with grace up until it was time for her to leave.
Alone with my computer
And then I was all alone at Gate 101, which happens to be right at the very end of the terminal. I chose a corner with a plug to sit at and played away at my computer until it was time to board. I was mainly making webpages to put up because of my lack of updates.
No need for computers
no need for computers when there are beautiful flight attendants on board. Most of the Asiana flight attendants were very beautiful. I was pretty satisfied with the flight.

High School Graduation
I just ran in to a couple friend of mine when I was running my last few errands downtown. They told me that they were graduating. I was surprised because I have known them since they were high school freshmen. Now they are ready to get out of high school. Everyone is growing up so fast. Good luck to you Emma and Satoko!
Off to the Motherland
I am now off to go to the motherland. I think it will be a long ass flight.

Magic Mountain the right way
Unlike last year's fumbled Magic Mountain trip, we had fun on this one. We rode so many rides and didn't have to wait so long. We got to ride the newst ride, Scream, with only a 10 minute wait. When we first got there, it really wasn't that busy either. The longerst wait was about 45 minutes to ride Deja Vu. All of the high school students left at about 3:00pm, and the park was dead after that. But dead in a good sense because all of the rides opened up to us. We made up for the big mistake of going on a weend to the park. Going on a weekday while school is still in session was a great idea.

Quick Round Trip
I hate night driving, but I had to in this case. I decided to drive home to Lathrop at about Noon yesterday to pick up some stuff from home to bring to the Philippines. I have a big ass suitcase full of stuff now that I have to bring in addition to my own stuff. So anyways I started at about 1:20pm and I drove four hours up to San Francisco and stopped there for about an hour. I picked up a camera case at the Sont Metreon. I left around 6:30pm and drove one hour to Lathrop. I stayed there until 11:00pm and then started driving straight back here. It was really hard. I don't like driving at night because I can't see anything. It is harder to stay awake when the only thing you can focus on is the road in front of you. In the daytime, you can focus on things all over the place. Keeping my mind occupied keeps me awake. But as I was driving, I noticed two shooting stars. I felt pretty lucky and it made my drive easier. I know it's just superstition, but it was one way to keep my mind occupied. But after a long day, I am finally home.

I Didn't Know
This morning I woke up because I heard my roommate and/or his girlfriend going in and out of the bathroom. I thought they were getting ready to go out. Then I heard the door going out slam shut. I thought the both of them had left. So I got up and was making a lot of noise. I had the TV on in my room, the TV on in the living room at one point. I switched to the stereo in the living room and turned up the music. it was pretty loud and the bass was booming. But as I ate lunch my roommates girlfriend emerged from the room. I was totally surprised. If I had known she was here, then I would have kept the racket down a little. Ooopps!

The feeling is still so terrible. I was jsut watching Real World on MTV and the cast was watching TV on the day it happened. Pictures of the towers when it happened are still as striking as the day it happened. My hair still stands on end. I'm watching them on TV dealing with their feelings. And they weren't even there. I felt the same way being here, but when I was supposed to be there, it made me feel worse. I'm so pissed off and upset about what happened. See my old blog to find out the circumstances. I jsut wanted to blog this real quick to get it off my chest.
