First One to Get Harry Potter
I was the first one to get Harry Potter today from Waldenbooks in Santa Maria. I couldn't get one from Barnes and Noble or Borders in SLO because they didn't have enough. I called around and found out that they weren't selling any until 7am in Santa Maria and that they had plenty for people who didn't reserve. So I went this morning. There were 2 lines; one for reserved, and the other for non reserved copies. they even had a game where you had to find the snitch in the store for a speacial prize. But as soon as the gate opened, I went around and grabbed a copy and went straight for the cash register. I was out of there really fast and went straight home. I didn't get started for a while because someone called me from the Philippines, but the whole time, I really wanted to read.

Cannot Readjust
I just can't get myself to readjust. I know I'm supposed to be awake in the day and asleep at night, but it is very difficult to do so when my body wants to do the opposite. Maybe my body is adjusting backwards. I just want to be bloody normal again.

Still Jetlagged
I think my jetlag is worse after a couple days. I wake up early for work and try to sleep early, but I end up sleeping late and waking up early. It would be the equivalent of taking a long nap in the afternoon if I was still in the Philippines. I want this jetlag to go away now!

Jet Lag
It's only been a day since I got back, but I can feel that my jet lag will be bad. I got up at 10am then slept again until 4pm. I know I will be up all night. Jet lag really hits hard when you are traveling east. I wonder how long it will last. I hope not.

Finally Home
I am finally back into San Luis Obispo. I left at 1:00pm Sunday from Manila, then at 7:30pm from South Korea, and it still isn't that time. I was supposed to catch an 8:30pm connecting flight in SF, but I caught an earlier flight as a standby passenger. And I was lucky enough to catch a flight. I didn't want to stay in SFO for 6 hours.
