[red lion hotel, eureka, ca]
Hot Room After a long day of hard work, I was ready to crash. There were a lot of people waiting for the elevator, so my crew and I decided to take the stairs to the third floor of the hotel. We each had all of our overnight bags and stuff. So anyways I get to my room and open the door and a blast of hot air blows. Damn, it was hot. So I decided to find the thermostat and try to change it, but i think it is broken. It's a super old one. I also turned on the AC and opened the sliding door to the balcony. When I stepped outside, it was very cold -- my breath was freezing. I still haven't figured out how to operate that old thermostat. I am used to opening the airplane door and having hot air hit me, but not in the room I'm gonna stay in for the night.
