[skywest crew lounge, fresno, ca] Blowout My tires were blading so I decided to get new ones. I called up my friend Panchey and he recommended a place and met me there. I couldn't afford all four so I only bought two tires for the front. So I paid and went home. A while later I took off for work in Fresno. About 77 miles into my 128 miles trip, my front right tire blows out. I pull over and proceeded to get it changed while keeping my uniform clean. I can't believe that a brand new tire blew out. it totally sucked. It takes me a total of 7 minutes. I have now come to the conlcusion that people should not use the "flat tire" excuse anymore. I get it done and make it to work on time. Super Ben makes it! posted at 3:19 PM by Super Ben Monday, September 22, 2003 [red lion hotel, medford, or] Savannah I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Savvannah for making my night. posted at 6:49 AM by Super Ben Sunday, September 21, 2003 [red lion hotel, medford, or] 'Put it Away' or 'It's in the way' I've noticed quite a few trends when I fly. First it was the Harry Potter books, and then Seabiscuit, but now I don't know what to think. The new thing is women breasfeeding their children. I know it's a natural thing, but I don't know whether to be grossed out or turned on. Sometimes it's like, "Ma'am please put it away or cover up", and other times it's like "Dammit, the kid's head is in the way!" Just today I was walking down the aisle offering some snacks and taking drink orders, when I come upon a woman breastfeeding her baby, and I was like Ohhh-Kayyy. She wasn't covered up or nothin'. She takes a long while to decide what she wants to drink and the whole time I am trying to keep eye contact with her. And a couple flight later another woman is at it again. The whole flight, she and her husband kept changing seats. One of them is a seat that is right at the end of the aisle at which I am seating facing towards at the other end of the aisle. So anyways at one point, she was in the aisle seat and I was seated in my jumpseat and she decided to start breastfeeding. And here I am across from here while she is going at it. I don't know whether to be turned on or to be grossed out. posted at 7:38 PM by Super Ben |
