Flight Attendants are so great. I ran into another flight attendant, Jodi, who I met before I even worked for Skywest. I was on her flight whenI was flying out to the Philippines. I was always wondering when I would run into her. I’ve seen her name in the log sheets back at Fresno and knew that I missed her by a couple flights. But today in LA I met up with her in the crew lounge while I was on my 3.5 hour break. I told her about my car-sleeping and she totally offered to let me stay at her place. I just can’t believe how nice everyone is. Thanks a lot everyone.

Not Sleeping in My Car. Yay!
We got in pretty early today at about 6:30pm. I was supposed to meet someone, but they ended up going out of town. So I called up another flight attendant and she let me crash on her couch. Trish is so nice. She hooked me up with some leftover Thanksgiving food that her family made. There was some good stuff, cornbread stuffing, 7-up cake, rolls, and some turkey and ham.

TURKEY!!!!
I did end up getting turkey. The hotel staff ended up bringing us some turkey dinner. The dinner included Turkey, Ham, Mashed Potatoes, and Stuffing. It was the perfect amount of food also. I wasn’t able to gorge myself like at normal Thanksgiving dinners. And that was a good thing. It is a Turkey Thanksgiving after all.

No Turkey
Unfortunately, I am working tonight. This is the first time that I am not with my family for this holiday. I’ve missed one Christmas with them before, but this is the first Thanksgiving. This is also going to be my first thanksgiving without turkey. It sucks. But here I am alone in my hotel room after a long day of flying with no one on my flights.

Overuse of the Letter ‘W’
Remember the days when the only use of the letter ‘w’ was in the words Who, What, Where, When, and Why? These days the letter ‘w’ is used way too much. At least 3 times as much as it should be. When the World Wide Web became popular, the use of the letter more than tripled. I mean when saying an internet address, one does W-W-W-dot-something-dot-come. It’s not just using the letter, but calling it’s anme out too. No one says A-A-A-slast-dot-comma-B-B-B. it is unnecessary to even use WWW. All you have to do it type in ‘benedictcorpuz.com’ and the browser will fill in the rest.
